The Loire valley

The Loire Valley is inscribed on the UNESCO's World heritage list since 2000.
On the banks of the last wild river in Europe you will find a unique whole, harmonious blend of natural wealth and genius of man. You will admire wild fauna and flora... and beautiful constantly changing landscapes.

In Touraine perhaps more than elsewhere, the Loire and the hills of limestone make up a perfect backdrop to the majesty of the great castles, the practice of garden art or the vineyards.
The royal river is helped in this by the four major rivers, the Cher, Indre, Creuse, and Vienne, which have very pretty valleys: in Touraine no shortage of beautiful scenery!

here are several ways to enjoy the beautiful landscapes: "la Loire à vélo www.loireavelo.fr, the Loire in a traditional boat or canoe, the Loire nature walks.
