At Camping Paradis L’Arada Parc, preserving the environment is our priority. We implement eco-responsible practices such as selective sorting, the use of innovative cleaning product-free solutions and responsible water management. We also promote the use of renewable energies to limit our environmental impact.
Our visitors are encouraged to adopt behaviors that respect nature. Located in the heart of the Châteaux de la Loire region, our campsite near Tours is committed to offering sustainable vacations while preserving the beauty of our environment for future generations.
Our ecological actions and commitments
Selective sorting
Among the ecological commitments of our campsite near Tours, selective sort ing is a priority to preserve our beautiful Indre-et-Loire region. A single collection point is located at the campsite exit. Yellow bags are provided for recyclables, a bio-bucket is available in each accommodation for composting (2 drop-off points in the campsite), a skip for glass collection, as well as battery and cork collectors are also available for sorting your waste. Sorting is good, but reducing waste is even better! We have modified our working methods to reduce waste at the snack bar, and to limit the use of containers for household products. Don’t forget that a fresh filtered water fountain is available. Don’t forget to bring your own water bottles, and reduce the quantity of plastic bottles! By taking part in this eco-responsible approach, you’re helping to protect the environment while enjoying a sustainable vacation at an eco-friendly campsite in Indre-et-Loire.
Heating network and photovoltaic panels
At Camping Paradis L’Arada Parc, we are proud to produce 60% of our energy consumption from renewable sources. Our methanization-based heating network uses organic waste to heat water for sanitary facilities and swimming pools.
At the same time, our photovoltaic panels generate part of our electricity. These concrete initiatives demonstrate our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, while guaranteeing our visitors a comfortable and eco-responsible stay.
Sustainable development
Our campsite also reduces the use of cleaning products by adopting environmentally-friendly alternatives such as ionized water and steam washing.
In our rentals, we offer kits of organic and ecological household products, presented in sustainable and reusable bottles. Our facilities include automatic lighting with LED bulbs, water-saving aerators, and we promote recycling and homestaging.
