From our campsite near Tours, you can visit many of the castles of the Loire Valley, including Château de Chambord, Château de Chenonceau, Château de Chaumont, Château de Blois, Château de Cheverny, Château d’Amboise, château d’Azay-le-Rideau, château de Villandry, château de Langeais, château d’Ussé, Chinon fortress, Loches keep, château du Rivau, château de Saumur, château de Montsoreau, Montbazon fortress….

A day trip from Chambord to Chaumont
A little more secluded, but staying at the 4-star l’Arada Parc campsite with swimming pool is still a good base for visiting the castles of Blois, Chambord and Chaumont sur Loire.
- 9:00 am Departure from Arada Parc campsite
- 10:00 Visit the Château de Blois. Duration 1 h 30, Price + 18 years: 14,50 €, Price 6-17 years: 7,50 €.
- 11:30 Departure for Château de Chambord (25 min)
- 12:00 Option to picnic in Chambord or eat in one of the restaurants in or around the château
- 1:30 pm Visit to the Château de Chambord. Duration 1 h 30, Price + 18 years: 19€, Price – 18 years: Free. Parking: €6
- 3:00 pm Departure for the Château de Chaumont sur Loire (40 min)
- 3:45 pm Visit to the Château de Chaumont and/or the International Garden Festival. Duration: 1 h 30 to 3 h. Price for château & garden + 18 years: €21, 12-18 years: €13, 6-11 years: €6
- Approx. 5.30-6.30 p.m. depending on tour chosen
