The Loir Valley
The campsite L'Arada Parc is located in Indre-et-Loire but close to the Loir Valley (land of art and history) with the agricultural landscape of meadows, hills and woodlands. When going through the villages, you can admire the ancient limestone quarries, nowadays transformed into houses or wine cellars.
Just as the Loire Valley, the Loir Valley has its vineyards with two AOC: Jasnières and Coteaux du Loir.
"La forêt domaniale de Bercé" (45 km) is one of the most prestigious quality oak forests in our country since the seventeenth century.
Many mills dot the Loir, they allow regulation of the river and make it navigable: Moulin de Rotrou, Moulin de Pousset, Moulins de Paillard, Moulin de la Bruère.
The 24 Hour circuit of Le Mans is located 63 km from the campsite. www.24h-lemans.com
